This morning I completed wiring of the O.A.T. Sensor. The sensor is mounted on an inspection panel on the bottom of the wing. The wires were cut to about 3” long, crimped to connector pins, then protected with a couple layers of heat shrink tubing. The pins were then secured to a plastic mounting block which had been glued to the inside surface of the inspection panel the previous evening.
The mating wires from inside the wing were secured internally to prevent interference with the aileron bellcrank. Mating pins were crimped on the wire ends, and protected with heat shrink tubing.
