Brief Description: Left Fairing and Fuel Tank Vents
I spent most of today finishing the left wing-to-fuselage fairing, using the process described yesterday for the right wing fairing.
The last hour of the day was spent finding a tin can with and appropriate diameter (~5-1/4”,) then rolling the vent coils, applying the AN fitting, then drilling the hole through the lower wing fairing. The hole was lined with a ¼” plastic bushing, and the coils were wrapped with three turns of safety wire in two locations to prevent vibration.
