The right tank was removed from the wing and positioned back in its saddle. It was again pressure tested with soapy water, and no leaks were found. The tank was moved to the hangar and filled with premium gasoline, beginning the wet test.
The left tank completed its two week sealant curing period, so it was cleaned with green scotchbrite discs in a die grinder. The test fittings were mounted to the tank, then the tank was pressurized and checked with soapy water. After tightening one of the fittings a little more, no leaks were apparent.
