Brief Description:  Right Fuel Tank Assembly

A small batch of sealant was mixed, thinned, and loaded into a modified syringe. After connecting the vent line to the inboard vent fitting, sealant was applied to both ends of the nut to insure security of the fitting nut.

Sealant was applied to the intersections of the vent tube and the ribs that it passes through, to prevent damage to the vent tube by vibration.

Sealant was also applied to the fuel level sender mounting seat to seal between the inboard rib and the rubber gasket. Sealant was applied to the ends of the five mounting screws, and the fuel level sender was sealed to the tank. There is no sealant between the rubber gasket and the sender mounting plate. If this becomes a leak point, it will be easy to remove the sender and add the sealant.
