The two inboard fuel tank ribs were assembled today. The rivets and nutplates were rinsed in acetone and air dried, and the two ribs, support plates, and fuel pickup doublers were final cleaned with acetone and lint free wipes (McMaster-Carr #7089T12.)
All of the mating surfaces were coated with sealant, then assembled with closed end blind rivets. The first one took three hours, the second one two hours, and another hour for preparation and cleanup combined.
