Today, the wings were removed and the fuselage sides were clecoed in position to serve as a reference surface for the trimming of the inboard flap ends.
Both flaps were mounted one hinge knuckle outboard from their final position on the wings. The wings were reinstalled and pinned in position. A line was drawn on both the upper and lower flap surfaces, 1-1/16” from the fuselage side surfaces. The flaps were then removed, and the right flap end was trimmed to the mark then filed to a smooth edge.
The right flap was reinstalled for a test fit. Looks good.
