While waiting for the forward fuselage hardware to arrive tomorrow, I decided to start on the ailerons. The aileron control arms were deburred and cleaned up, then match drilled to four of the aileron ribs. The ribs were paired up and match drilled to the “U” clips, then rivet together to make two aileron control rib assemblies.
The aileron counterbalance arms were deburred and cleaned up, then bolted to four of the aileron ribs. Four rivet holes were match drilled to the ribs, separated and deburred, then riveted and permanently bolted together to make two aileron counterbalance arm assemblies.
