A hardened attachment point was created in the overhead floor joists near the center of the shop, to support the engine during the transfer from the table to the engine mount on the fuselage.
Before mounting the engine, the engine mount will be removed from the plane, and a temporary Plexiglas firewall will be mounted, and the engine mount reinstalled. The Plexiglas simulated firewall will ease determining where to cut penetration openings, then serve as template for cutting the permanent firewall.
