My neighbor came over today and helped me get the engine off it nose and sitting flat on the table. From this position, I can lift the engine with a ratchet attached to the floor joists above, then set it on the engine mount attached to the fuselage.
The starter was adjusted to properly engage the ring gear.
I am in the process of fabricating a rod and plastic sleeve that will used to prime the oil system through the distributer hole. It is complete except for the tang thhat will be machined on the end, that engages the fuel pump.
