Removed strips of the protective plastic from the rivet lines on the outside of the V.S. skin.
Removed the protective plastic from the inside of the V.S. skin by cutting it at the leading edge radius, then winding it up on a dowel rod as instructed by Luke Weseman at - https://flywithspa.com/the-future-of-eaa-nature-vs-nurture/. This process works far better than simply pulling the plastic off, with far less risk of creasing the aluminum. (Photo 1)
Assembled the V.S. skin and hinge to the spar/rib structure, and partially drilled the #40 holes (Photos 2 & 3).
