The engine timing was set at 28-degrees at 2600 rpm today. Simple operation, but brutal. Staying upright that close to the propeller at that rpm was difficult. I had to wear goggles over my glasses to prevent the glasses from ending up in the woods. But it was successfully completed without any technical issues. The hole through the upper alternator bracket allowed an adequate view of the timing marks.
