Brief Description:  Fuel Pressure and A.P. Servos

An erroneous fuel pressure indication was discussed in the April 25 post. GRT delivered the correct fuel pressure transducer (0-2 Bar) in less than two days – Impressive!! The new transducer had two terminals rather that the single terminal on the original unit. So, an additional ground wire was added. The hardest part of the reassembly was getting the two cushion clamps closed and aligned so the bolt would go in; frustrating, but persistence won out.

The scale factor was changed from 91 to 250, and the offset changed from 15 to 47 in the EIS. The offset was later changed from 47 to 45 to zero out the reading when the fuel pumps are off. The fuel pressure now reads ~6.3 PSI.

I also received the autopilot servos today, and started mounting them. I wish I had received them before riveting the side skins. Sure would have made it easier to mount them under the seat pan.
