Heat shielding aluminum foil was applied to the forward halves of the wheel pants on the inboard sides.
Masking was applied to the wheel pants and gloss white enamel paint applied to the interior of the pants not covered with the heat shielding. The paint seals the porosity of the fiberglass, making it much easier to clean, and preventing the absorption of crud and corruption. A second coat of enamel will be applied later.
