The spot putty applied yesterday to the cowling halves was sanded, then the lower cowling was painted with sandable primer filler. This exposes the remaining pin holes so they can be addressed.
The inside of the lower cowl was sanded in preparation for applying the aluminum foil liner.
An additional layer of fiberglass was applied in a few places on the inside of the upper cowling along the upper rear edge, to improve the alignment of the cowling edge to the boot cowl aluminum skin.
