Yesterday, a full scale paper pattern of the instrument panel openings was glued to the panel blank. Today, the openings were cut with step drills, hole saws, and a jig saw with a fine tooth blade. The openings were filed smooth, the paper pattern was removed with solvent, then the panel was clecoed back onto the airframe.
The EFIS, radio, LED indicators, and a USB power socket were mounted. Nothing will be permanently mounted until the panel Vinyl graphic is available.
