It took two and one-half months to arrive, but the oil cooler finally showed up on my front porch. So, work on the baffling and oil cooler mounting began in earnest. The baffling components were mounted and match drilled for mounting screws and rivets, then deburred and painted. Everything fit together very well.
I fabricated a small sheet aluminum bridge to cover the short span between the lower rear steel baffle and the oil cooler. The inboard side extends downward to cover the rectangular opening in the steel baffle. A hump on the upper inboard end of the steel baffle was removed for a better fit of the bridge.
