The second set of connections between the fuselage and wings worked on today, was the fuel sender electrical connections. I used the SPA idea of using a lantern battery spring on one side, mating to an insulated metal washer on the other side. I did not have the printed insulators from SPA, so I turned the insulators from black Nylon, on my lathe. The bolt and washer are stainless steel to prevent corrosion. A shoulder on the outer insulator fits into the hole in the skin to prevent the screw from shorting to ground. A ring terminal will be used on the inside for connection to the EIS.
