Brief Description: Avionics Tray Final Preparation
Most of the day was spent planning the avionics layout and wire routing for the avionics tray. After trying several configurations, I settled on the one that seems the simplest and most logical. The mounting holes for each of the devices were marked and drilled. 10-32 nutplates were provided for avionics boxes and fuse blocks that were likely to need servicing or replacement in the future. Holes were also provided as securing points for wiring bundles.
After all the holes were drilled and dimpled, the nutplates were riveted in place. The tray was then cleaned and painted.
