To provide a secure mounting point for the mixture control cable, a mounting bracket was fabricated from 0.063” thick 4130 steel. It mounts to the upper surface of the intake manifold carburetor flange.
I got tired of waiting for backordered bug nuts from ACS, so I fabricated one from an AN3 bolt for the throttle cable and another from an AN4 bolt for the mixture cable, then cancelled the ACS order.
Firewall penetrations were worked out for the mixture, throttle, and carb heat control cables. However, the Cable Safe Grips from ACS that I had planned on using were back ordered (the supplier died,) so I plan to fabricate substitutes for these tomorrow.
