Brief Description: Prepping the Skirt for Bonding to the Bubble
Today I did some experimenting to figure out the details of the process of applying the canopy adhesive and clecoing the two components together, in an orderly and well controlled manner. Practiced a plan that I think will work.
The bubble and skirt were removed from the assembly frame, and the interior of the skirt was sanded in preparation for bonding to the bubble. The exterior was also block sanded to expose areas that need to be filled to smooth out small anomalies in the surface.
