For cost purposes, I decided to use an inexpensive ($29.70) fuel valve from Aircraft Spruce, rather than the SPRL valve ($150.00.) Just my tightwad tendencies overriding my preferences.
To use this valve, an adapter to mount the valve to the fuselage mounting point is needed, and a faceplate to hide the assembly and identify the three operating settings, Left, Off, and Right. The stem will also be shortened, and a new flat machined on the shortened shaft.
The adapter has been machined, and the faceplate will follow.
