Today, the left flap was removed and the inboard end was cut to the marking applied yesterday. The drive angle was cut to eliminate the protrusion beyond the cut end of the flap, and the new cuts were radiused and polished. The drive angle was riveted to the drive rib, then the rib was riveted to the flap skin. Clearance was cut on the front inboard end of the flap to clear the drive mechanism, then the flap was reinstalled on the wing.
The right flap was removed and the drive angle and inboard end of the flap were processed as above.
