After verifying the basic fit of the seat structure, the seat back and bottom structures were updrilled to #30, deburred and cleaned up with a solvent wipe. All the components were then lightly primed with NAPA 7220 Self-Etching Primer.
After the primer dries over night, the exposed area of the seat assembly will be painted with Rust-Oleum "HAMMERED" paint. This matches well with the powder coat on the frame, and covers minor blemishes well.
While waiting for the primer to dry, I installed the tail wheel assembly. Looks better.
