Prepped the ribs, marked rib and spar centerlines, updrilled the front spar and its stiffener, riveted the front spar stiffener to the front spar, and cut and mounted the four wood fixtures.
The four wood fixtures were cut against a stop on my miter saw, so they are all precisely the same length. This allows me to use a level on the top of the wood blocks to level the structure. Thin aluminum shims are placed under a couple of the wood fixtures to adjust for minor, local variations in the table surface. (Photo 2)
