Brief Description: Final Assembly of Tail Boom to Airframe
Today I installed the (primed) support brackets into the airframe sockets, brought the tail boom into position over the support brackets, with an extreme amount of alignment with a laser and several plumb bobs and then double checking for perfect tail boom alignment I also measured and adjusted the up angle alignment and then drilled all support holes through the brackets and into the tail boom. Installed bolts, washers, nuts and then torqued each in place.I measured the distance of the predrilled holes (in tail boom) for horizontal stabilizers and found there to be slight differences in the locations between the port and starboard sides. This to be resolved later.
