Brief Description: VS Edge Finishing, Countersink & Dimpling
Finished the edges of all sheet metal parts using die grinder with 3M Cut & Polish wheel. Countersunk holes in stiffener for flush rivets at fuselage attach point. Dimpled skin, ribs and spars.
Learned something about my DRDT-2 dimpler... The dimple quality seems to be a little higher with a little more pressure than I used on the HS. I think my flush rivets on my VS will turn out a little better than the HS, but we'll see after riveting is complete.
