Got some R/C style servo connectors today and soldered them to the tiny 26awg wires on the Ray Allan trim servos. Of course, they are not positive locking connectors but they withstand way more 'G's in models than is ever likely to occur in the -8. Despite that, at final installation the two connector halves will be lock-tied together with nylon line and then covered with heat shrink. I'm confident they will do the job just fine.
I also made a start on deburring the forward top skin, but only got as far as the holes on one side when a phone call cut short my work. Tomorrow night then. Maybe.
