At the same time as doing the strobe wire, I temporarily ran the elevator trim wire, again, to see where to put cable tie mounts. I wasn't happy with the way it crossed the longeron right up the back there, so I sucked in my stomach and went down there and fitted an adel clamp where the wire goes over the longeron. While I was there, I torque-sealed the HS attach bolts.
Later on I went out and removed the forward top skin, identifying and marking parts as necessary for dimpling, etc. Also removed the NACA vent and scuffed that ready for it to be prosealed and riveted back when I do the prosealing later in the week. I also riveted the aileron autopilot servo mount to the seat rib assembly. I used CherryMax CR2312-3-4 for the holes that go through the seat rib angle, and then LP4-3s for the ones that just go through the rib itself.
