First of all I riveted the front seat hing to the front seat, just because it needed doing and caught my eye as I walked into the shop this evening. Next I moved onto the mid-cabin covers. Never under estimate the amount of extra work required when you deviate from the plans! What should have been a simple job took me ages, most of which was spent organizing the correct tool, rather than actually doing the work. In short, instead of a single hole to mark and drill with a unibit for the Vans fuel selector valve, I had a big hole to cut and four mounting holes. All this done 'blind' working under the left side mid-cabin cover while leaning over into the fuse and drilling by feel; nerve-wracking! Anyway, got it done; got both mid-cabin covers fitted and the Andair selector valve fitted. Haven't yet fitted nutplates to the aux longerons: I'll do that after I primer the countersunk holes which will, of course, be next time I primer something else.
