Its been a while, and it took a while! Jackie helped me set the remaining rivets in the fwd side skins at the wing spar opening. At least, the fwd column, not the column immediately adjacent to the opening; they will need to wait until the false spars come out because access is limited. The left side went fine, but the right side gave us a hassle with one rivet that didn't set properly, was difficult to drill out and then broke as we tried to pull it out. That cost us nearly three quarters of an hour while we tried to find a way of getting it out without ruining the hole. Some deft work with the right-angle drill attachment and a small drill bit did the trick. We then went on to set the remaning rivets in the mid-side skins. Now that is done I can concentrate on making a start on the aft side skins during the week and won't need Jackie for a little while.
