Jackie and I spent 45 mins in the shop putting in the An426AD3 rivets into both the fwd auxilliary longerons. She'd already had a long day at University so we called it quits there and we'll do the gear box rivets some other time. We would have been quicker but we had four drill outs from 32 set rivets. It seems that some of the -6 rivets are really soft and as soon as the gun gets a whiff of them they flatten right up like pancakes. Not sure why this is, and it seems to be somewhat random, but its frustrating having to drill them out and do them over again. Ah well...
