Took me 2¾ hrs to fully deburr and clean the two lower longerons. The trouble is, they are stamped out of sheet and then bent, so the edges are really shitty and need a lot of cleaning up. I also managed to put a slight bend into one, ironically enough while I was trying to straighten it a little. After swearing a couple of times I set about, well, straightening it. Again! I'm pleased to say it worked. All the holes line up nicely with the skin (I re-fitted it with a cleco in every other hole to check) and you can hardly notice that it isn't exactly the way it was. Phew! The thought of shipping another lower longeron from Vans was terrifying! :-)
