The aluminium main spar spacers still haven't been done, so I decided to make a start on the boring tasks of the seat rib sub-assembly: deburring. Took me an hour to disassemble all the parts & run the edges across the emery wheel. I also used the dremel sanding drum to do the lightening holes. Oh, and I re-bent the rear seat crotch-belt brackets to take the slightly wider hooker harness attachment. All the parts have been marked as necessary to identify left from right. Even if the main spar spacers are ready tomorrow I'm probably going to be out of town so would be unable to collect them. In that case, I will probably make a start on edge-finishing all these parts tomorrow. I emailed Vans about the missing AB4-250 material and they told me that early kits accidentally shipped without that part: they are sending one over.
