Quickly finished off the cooling ramp rivetting and made a start on the landing gear towers. Simply deburring and edge-finishing the parts took longer than expected, and there are dozens of holes in these towers! After four and a half hours of work I had the right-hand gear tower ready to be primered. Unfortunately timing is against me over the next couple of weeks, so if I can't get the left-hand gear tower done later this evening and then finished up before 11am or so tomorrow, I won't be able to prime all the parts possibly for another two weekends. That would effectively mean a three week delay (I prefer to do one thing at a time in step with the instructions). I guess it is just as well I'm in no rush! See the next couple of posts for more photos of the construction sequence of the right-hand gear tower.
