Installed the K1000-6 nutplates onto the now primered light mounting plates. Installed the lights. They look good. I had to pop out to the shops earlier to get some rubber U-channel. It occurred to me last night that the wires could chafe (sp?) against the slot. Of course, I couldn't use a grommet as I had originally planned because of the molex connector (which is also the reason there's a slot and not just a hole!). I re-fitted the green light to the right wing tip and replaced the lens. I have yet to install the #4 nutplates and the lens onto the left wing. A tomorrow job maybe... While I was in the workshop earlier, and waiting for the primer to dry, I modified the wing stand to store the W-816 aileron pushrods.
