Brief Description: Leading edge light - right wing
Decided to fit the leading edge light now before completely assembling the leading edge. It'll mean I can prime all the parts and assemble them at the same time. Might also look at fitting the AoA Pro bits too while I have good access.Didn't really do much, though it went significantly quicker than the left wing, probably because I knew mostly what I was doing and already had the templates cut out. Fitted the template as per instructions in the last outboard bay of the right wing leading edge. Marked out with pen. Drilled and cleco'd the retaining strips around the [yet to be] cut-out. Cut the hole using a cutoff wheel in the dremel with a flexible shaft; I can get really close to the edge that way. Then swapped to a half-inch sanding drum in the dremel and took it out to final size. This was with the retaining strips still in place so everything matches up nicely. Next job will be to disassemble and cleanup the edges with emery, then move on to fitting the bracket to the inside. Might do that tomorrow or the next day. Like I said: low motivation at the moment.
