Minor milestone reached: the left wing is basically done, with the exception of the control surfaces and fibreglass tip. Nonetheless, after our gargantuan battles with the bottom skin, it is now finished!! Since we were in a riveting mood, we also dimpled a whole load of K1100-8 nutplates and riveted those into the access panel holes as well. Next job will be clean up the workshop and get a 'dump run' sorted (clear out the crap and take it down the refuse centre). Then we'll make a start on the right wing. Of more concern right at the moment, is that I think we'll finish the wings before we have the money for the fuselage kit, but we'll crack on anyway and see what works out...
