Brief Description: Rivetting top inboard wing skin
Derrick came over tonight (that's him there in the photo) and we finished dimpling the ribs where the top inboard wing skin will go and I finished fitting the tank. Then we got stuck in to rivetting the skin on. We only got about half way through since its the first time we have worked together rivetting and were working out the system. I chose to back rivet this skin and quite frankly found it harder than I expected. We did around 120 or so rivets and tomorrow night we'll replace about 10 percent of them and then get on with the four inboard ribs where the wing walk doubler goes. After that we're stuck until we have a got weather day on a weekend and I can get the outboard skin primered. I'll try to get the bottom skins all deburred, dimpled and primered too and make the most of that good weather day [if we ever get one again, and I'm beginning to doubt it :-) ]
