Jackie spent half an hour edge finishing theleading edge skin while I was out skydiving again today (its a hard life, huh?). Came home and we dimpled the skin together. I did as many as I could reach with the pneumatic squeezer, and then we did the rest on the C-frame. Next time I have to dimple something big (the main wing skins) hopefully I'll have a DRDT-2 all setup. The front end kit is on the way from Paul at Experimental Aero, and a local fab shop is making up the framework during the next week. I'm probably going to be skydiving again tomorrow (too many students, not enough jump masters!) so I'm really hoping that the forecast bad weather for Monday isn't as bad as we expect. I need to clean & alodine the leading edge ribs, and then prime the ribs and skin; that takes me most of the day, and of course I need to do it outside, when humidity is low and temperature is high; a big ask now that we're coming in to winter here in New Zealand. Ah well, we'll see...
