Before starting the tedious job of prepping all the ribs, I decided to test assemble the left wing skeleton to see how it all hangs together. I'm glad I did. First, I now know which ribs go where and can mark them. Secondly, I noticed that the 4th and 5th W-709-L leading ribs from the outside of the wing do not match the pre-punched holes in the main spar. I have taken a picture and emailed Vans about it. I'm guessing they'll just say, drill the holes, but since it is the spar 'at fault' and not the ribs I wanted to make sure. Didn't do anything else tonight.
