I bought some more aluminium tape today (damn that stuff is expensive!) and finished taping up the right side. Then I mixed up 120ml of epoxy/micro mix and applied the first layer. It was enough to do from the aft centre down each side to the longeron. Hopefully it isn't so thick that the heat build up during the cure is a problem. If it is, well, its too late now!
After this has set (i.e. tomorrow night maybe) I shall either sand it down and apply another layer, or mix up some more and apply down the sides. I'm going to go slowly with it in any case so I don't expect to be doing the mould lay up for a couple of weeks yet. Slowly, slowly catchy monkey; I'm in no rush...
