Since I can't finish rivetting the rudder skin (the Proseal from Vans hasn't arrived yet), I decided to make a start on the right-hand elevator, as per the manual. Stiffeners again; I hate making the stiffeners. I know Vans have made it dead easy with the pre-punched angles and all, but it is soooo boring and repetitive! No matter, they're all done and ready for cleaning and priming. Jackie helped prepare the skin so tomorrow we can clean & prime all the parts. We messed up one of the dimples right near the inside bend on the skin when the dimple die wasn't quite aligned properly, but 'the good book' says rivet it and fill the gap, so that is what we shall do. No drama, but still very annoying.
