Well, the structural epoxy filled things up nicely. I even got the screws out ok. Even so, I made up some epoxy/flox mix and threw some in there too. I don't think it was strictly necessary, but I'm happier with it that way. Tomorrow night I'll re-drill the main hole and see about mounting the light; I'm not sure I have any screws long enough though...
