Tonight I cleaned and degreased all the r/h HS parts and alodined the bare aluminium bits (ie all the ribs and reinforcing bits). The alclad skin and spars were not alodined. I then mixed up some primer and attempted to apply it - what a monumental cock up. It leapt out of the spray gun like it was steroids no matter whether I adjusted the mixture control or the air pressure. I may as well have just tipped it onto the skin. It looks awful and I have no idea what to do. I'm going to need to seek some assistance on this... UPDATE - once dry it looked a hundred times better, but I'm still not satisfied. Obviously I'm no picasso, so I'll need some training and practice on this!! :-)
