All I got done today was bonding the reinforcing strips to the wing tip. I had thought it would set within a few hours and then I could fit the nutplates and everything. But here we are, 5:15pm and it *still* hasn't set. I think the epoxy adhesive I'm using is past its best so I might throw it away; that will force me into buying some new stuff next time I need it. Spent the rest of the day over-engineering a simple fix for my camera tripod. Once you build a plane, its amazing the kind of stuff you'll end up fabricating rather than just replacing. I would have thrown the tripod away a year ago, and bought a new one. Now it is all fixed and working just fine again!!
