I'm making two log entries for this one job, since I have several photos I'd like to share. Today we completed the assembly of the left aileron, and I'm rather pleased with it. We mixed up the proseal and stuck that in between the stiffeners on the trailing edge, just like the rudder. Just about that time my Mother showed up, so we cleco'd the whole assembly together with a cleco in every hole and took a short break. After a coffee, we then got started on riveting the top surface; I took my cue from DanC on this one. Jackie drove while I lay on my back and bucked. Actually, it wasn't nearly as hard as we had believed and we had it done fairly quickly with only one rivet to drill out when I slipped with the bar and mangled it :-)
