Brief Description:  Priming top skins & leading edge

Despite having the day off as planned, it was a struggle to get this priming done and I've only just finished at ten to nine (pm). I got up at 7:30am, but then ended up working remotely until lunch time (my 'days off' are like that sometimes). So, only a half day off then really. I should mention at this point, that I had a minor headache ever since I woke up that wasn't getting any better. I got stuck into the cleaning of all the parts but as expected the weather was bad, so I was trying to do it half in the workshop and half out and dodging the major rain showers in the process. Around 1:15 or so my headache had turned from minor to major and I was also in severe danger of filling my mask with breakfast!! It was time to go into maintenance mode: I went to bed. I am able to 'repair' myself pretty quickly when I sleep and I woke up sorted at 2:30 and ready to go. Had some noodles for lunch and went back out into the rain to alodyne the leading edge ribs. That done I prepared to get priming. And now I'm done cleaning up and everything is drying in the workshop. The following parts were done: top outboard wing skin, top inboard wing skin, leading edge skin, wing walk doubler, leading edge light bracket, leading edge light lens reinforcing strips, six leading edge ribs, the W-423 joint plate, the wing access panels, and finally the countersinks in the main and rear wing spars on the wing skeleton. Phew!! I'm skydiving the whole weekend, so next week we'll start the whole assembly process for the leading egde and top skins. Excellent :-) I'll get a photo of all the primered parts tomorrow or the next day and update this log entry.
