Another bad weather / good progress day. We have now deburred, dimpled & scotchbrighted the leading edge skin, leading edge ribs, W-423 joint plate, wing access panels, leading edge light components, the top inboard main skin, and the wing walk doubler. Jackie will edge-finish the wing walk doubler, leading edge skin, and both the top skins, and deburr the holes in the outboard top skin while I'm away in Auckland next week. When I get home on Thursday we'll dimple the outboard skin and then if the weather is good on Friday *and* I don't go to work, then I'll prime everything and it can set up over the weekend while I'm skydiving.In other news, had a brief visit from a fellow RV builder in the US, Don Walker and his son on holiday in NZ from Reno. We chatted RV for a while and then he had to shoot off down south to Rotorua. Don's building an -8 and it was great to meet another builder and talk plane for a while. Hope the rest of your trip went well, Don, and hope you got down to the South Island and checked out the scenery!!
