Tonight I deburred all the holes in the main spar where I had drilled and countersunk for the tank attach and access panel nutplates. With that out of the way I went on to fabricate the W-731 tie down bar (which basically involves just tapping it to 3/8 BSW on the bottom end). Also fabricated the W-726 spacers and then assembled and drilled both of these to the main spar. Drilled for the K1000-3 nutplates and then called it a night. While I was doing that, Jackie came out for a while and edge finished another couple of main ribs. I'm hoping to have a big priming session this Sunday, weather permitting, and want to get as much done as possible. I won't be able to do the main ribs, most likely, but hopefully I'll get the main spar, tie down assembly, and all the rear spar stuff all squared away and ready to be primed up on Sunday. Then we can start assembly of the wing skeleton next week.
