Brief Description: Countersink spar for tank attach nutplates
Well, we cleaned up the workshop last night, took all the broken up shipping boxes and other crap to the dump this morning and swept up the floor. Now that the shop looks clean and tidy, its time to mess it up again!! Made a start on the right wing by countersinking the top of the spar for the tank attach nutplates. The first few angled nutplates didn't go as well as I had expected, but I soon picked up the right speed & pressure to use on the drill and the rest went much better. I forgot to take a photo before flipping the spar over ready to do the other side tomorrow night. I also masked the spar top and bottom, so once the countersinking is done I can mix up some primer and shoot it on. While I'm working on the spar bits and pieces, I'm trying to talk Jackie into edge-finishing the main and leading edge ribs; no luck so far, but I'll keep trying :-)
